While growing up in the Colorado mountains, David Mares discovered his passion for music studying piano and drums. After he won a guitar in a raffle, he began leading music for healing ministries and Masses at multiple churches in the Denver area while in high-school. He attended the University of Arizona to study music and engineering, and served as the campus minister before moving to the Phoenix area. David now lives in Mesa, AZ with his wife and two kids, where he serves as the Music Director at St. Timothy Catholic Church. He also writes and records with his worship band, EverNew.
